      The Mission of the WPHS is:

• To concern itself with the collection and preservation of local historical memories, records and artifacts
  
• To encourage the creation of the written Material, photographs, archives and other means of recording history.
  
• To make this information available to the public and future generations for their education, edification and enjoyment.
  

           Meeting & Events Program 2008
The Warkworth Historical Society will be holding it's meetings on 4th Monday of the month,  7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Hall in beautiful downtown Warkworth.

And a Happy New Year to you too! Our first meeting is scheduled for the fourth Monday in January and is titled "I found it in the attic , or, in the shed. Members are encouraged to bring interesting bits of bric a brac to share and tell a story about , so creative lying is encouraged. We will also be looking for a new slate of officers who will lead the Historical Society into the future. Hope to see you January 26th at 7:30 pm in the Olde Memorial Halle of beautiful downtown Warkworth (nee Percy Mills)
